Carlos J. Barroso is the Head of AI at Teracloud, where he provides the vision, guidance, and architecture for the future of AI in the cloud, for both Teracloud and its clients.

With over a decade of experience in Artificial Intelligence, dating back to 2012, Carlos is a recognized thought leader known for his ability to translate complex technological landscapes into clear business strategies. He is the creator of the D2M2 (Datera Data Maturity Model), a framework used by Teracloud and other organizations to evaluate and enhance data maturity. His career spans roles from coder to C-suite positions, including significant projects with industry giants like Vodafone, Red Hat, and Mercadolibre.

Carlos holds an MBA from the Universidad Nacional de Cordoba (UNC) and several certifications, including AWS Solutions Architect and PMP. He is passionate about leveraging data maturity to unlock the true value of AI and is focused on scaling Teracloud to become the leading AI/data partner for AWS in Latin America.
